The shell-inlay elements are made from natural shell. Each shell is considered individually—first for suitability, then for its natural colour, lustre, grain, and shape. The maker selects and matches the pieces the design calls for, then finely grinds, polishes, and shapes them before assembling the composition by hand. The visible colours are the shells’ own natural colours, not applied colour.

Every stage demands time, judgement, and repeated handwork. Because no two shells are identical, each piece must be adjusted to the material rather than mechanically replicated—selected, refined, and fitted through many careful passes before the work is complete. Each piece is hand-finished by an artisan with more than fifteen years of shell-inlay experience. Natural variations in colour, texture, and pattern make every finished work slightly different.

Shipping and import duties are included in the listed price. Other taxes and carrier handling fees, if applicable, remain the recipient's responsibility. Avoid impact, friction, oils, water, and prolonged damp conditions. If the piece becomes wet, dry it promptly.
